About the job

Do you have control of CNC programming – and would you like to influence how a new function should be built?

At NORDMARK we are seeking a PTA Technician who wants to become part of something that is still under construction.

We are in the process of establishing a new function around programming and technical support for our turning production. The team consists of three colleagues, your manager and perhaps you – and precisely because of that you get the opportunity to get close to both the tasks, the production and the decisions.

You will not just be employed to fill a spot in an existing organization. You will have the opportunity to help shape a function from the start.

A role close to production

As a PTA Technician you will play a central role in ensuring that our CNC turning runs efficiently and with high quality.

You will work with programming, setup and technical support, and you will have broad contact surfaces in the organization.

Your main tasks will include

  • Programming for horizontal and vertical lathes in MasterCam
  • Preparation of setup sheets and tool lists
  • Tool preparation
  • Technical support on programs in production
  • Support to the sales department with assessment of machining times

You will therefore have a daily life where you both work on the technical tasks and are close to those who need it in practice.

You don't need to know everything from day one

We are looking for a person with a solid technical foundation and experience with CNC turning.

You preferably have

  • Familiarity with or experience with programming lathes
  • Familiarity with Siemens- and/or Fanuc-controls
  • Good tooling knowledge
  • Familiarity with carousel lathes – it is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Solid experience with drawing reading, including GPS
  • Danish and English in writing and speech

The most important thing is, however, not that you can check every box.

We imagine that you are curious, professionally strong and keen to help get things to work – and to make them even better.

You will have an important role in something that is being built

As a person you are outgoing and good at communicating with different people. You work systematically and can create structure, even when not everything is predefined in advance.

You are flexible and comfortable with the fact that the workday does not always follow a completely fixed template. This applies both to tasks and working hours, where there may be a need for overtime in periods.

On the other hand, you get the opportunity to leave your mark.

You enter a function where there is room to take responsibility, come up with ideas and help decide how we do things going forward.

What do you get at NORDMARK?

You will become part of a high-tech industrial company in Sæby, where we work with precision machining of large and complex components for, among other things, the wind industry and heavy industry.

With us you get

  • An position with the opportunity to leave your mark
  • A central role close to production
  • Skilled colleagues and an informal working environment
  • Short decision paths and the opportunity to influence your daily life
  • An evolving workplace

Working hours are normally from 7:00 to 14:30, but we are open to finding the right solution for the right person.

Start date: As soon as possible.
