We are a highly specialized service for adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), physical disabilities and additional diagnoses.

We work cross-disciplinary, which means that we represent several professions. There are employed pedagogues, social- and health care assistants, and care aides, and there is extensive room for alternative professional backgrounds. So please apply, we want the best colleagues for our place.

Your most important tasks

• You must thrive working independently, comfortable with fixed routines in a daily life where you are with the residents during your working hours
• Daily documentation, preparation of sub-goals, status notes and other professional sparring with your colleagues
• To support the residents in following a good, adapted and structured 24-hour and activity plan
• The work offers relational and present engagement with our residents, who have extensive needs for support and security in order to maintain balance in their nervous system. This means, among other things, that you as an employee must be very good at anticipating situations that arise with the resident, as well as turning anxiety-inducing situations into ones that are safe again
• Personal care is part of the job and varies according to individual needs
• In addition, you must be willing to learn to read/interpret communications and signs. We use, among other things, pictograms, picture boards, sign language, etc.
• You will be employed as an employee at Stokholtbuen, and will mainly be attached to a fixed team that plans the effort for selected residents, but you must be prepared to assist in other teams when needed.

Your competencies

• Can plan and document relevant interventions, preferably with knowledge of NEXUS
• Have interest or knowledge of sensory integration work
• Have good collaboration skills and be reliable
• Are flexible, motivated and take pride in bringing good energy to your workplace
• Driver's license is a plus
• Can engage in close collaboration with relatives and residents regarding their wishes and expectations.

• The residents are diverse and have therefore different needs. You must be able to see beyond their behavior, have a resourceful mindset and be able to spot the development potentials and the competencies where the pedagogical measures/goals take their starting point. The majority of residents live in houses with common areas. Here you contribute to daily tasks in close collaboration with your colleagues. Some residents have 1:1 support, where you as an employee are with the same resident during your shift
• A fixed pattern of day shifts (7-15), evening shifts (14.45-22.45), intermediate shifts (e.g. 10-20), and shifts every second weekend.

Who we are

Stokholtbuen is a highly specialized integrated service (§§104 and 108) for 36 adults aged 25-75 with ASD and other accompanying disabilities including intellectual disabilities and physical disabilities.

Common to all residents is that they have difficulties in areas such as central coherence, imagination, communication and empathy. Our task is to support the residents based on a rehabilitative approach. Some residents may have self-harming and outwardly aggressive behaviour.

Recruitment process and salary

The starting date is 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible.

We will hold interviews on Tuesday 20 October and Friday 23 October 2026

We offer salary and employment terms according to the relevant collective agreement depending on your educational background.

The position can be filled by unskilled workers, pedagogical assistants, social pedagogues, social- and health care aides as well as social- and health care assistants.

Employment takes place according to the principles of local wage formation and after agreement with the union that has negotiating rights in the relevant collective agreement area.

The final salary is set after negotiation between the employer and the trade union with negotiating rights in the relevant collective agreement area. Salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
