About the job
Do you dream of working with Public Affairs and gaining hands-on experience in working with politics and societal agendas for some of the country’s leading companies? And would you like to be involved in planning and carrying out one of the year’s most important political events, Folkemødet?
In spring 2027, Radius CPH is seeking a Public Affairs intern who is curious about society, political agendas and the interaction between political decisions, business and society. As an intern you will be part of our "Radius Talent" program, which gives you the opportunity to test your mettle as an advisor to companies at the crossroads of public affairs, business and communication.
You will have the opportunity to work with the full public affairs toolkit for some of the country’s most exciting companies and organizations. At the same time you will play a central role in planning and executing Radius CPH's efforts at Folkemødet 2027. You will be involved in everything from program development and coordination of activities to the execution on Bornholm, where you of course will join us on the sunny island and thus get a unique opportunity to experience Denmark’s largest political festival up close.
The internship
As a Public Affairs intern you will become part of a consultancy environment where we help leading companies and organizations strengthen their political legitimacy, navigate complex situations with close scrutiny and set the agenda in their most important areas.
You will work closely with the entire house and our experienced consultants and will be responsible for concrete tasks with sparring and support all the way. You will participate in the daily task solving for a number of clients in collaboration with your colleagues, just as you will contribute to strengthening Radius CPH's own position and visibility.
A special part of the internship will be the work with Folkemødet. Together with our Public Affairs team you will play a central role in planning and coordinating Radius CPH's activities before, during and after Folkemødet. You will get very close to the work with political events for companies and the interaction between politics, media, businesses and organizations. Of course, you will also be part of the team on Bornholm during Folkemødet.
It is not expected that you can do everything from the start. The most important is that you are curious, eager to learn and motivated to contribute to the daily task solving.
Many of our former and current advisors have started their careers at Radius CPH as interns, so there are good opportunities to develop further after completing the internship.
Your tasks can include
- Planning, coordinating and executing Radius CPH's activities at Folkemødet, including contributing to idea development, event execution and other activities before, during and after Folkemødet
- Contributing to the development of political messages, strategies and policy papers for clients
- Research and analysis of political agendas, legislation and actors
- Mapping stakeholders and decision-making processes
- Monitoring media, the Folketing and the political debate
- Practical and analytical support for Public Affairs and communications efforts across clients
Tasks are adapted to your level and interests, but the common thread is that you gain insight into how Public Affairs translates from analysis to concrete action in interplay with strategy, communication and PR.
Who are you?
You are interested in politics and society and curious to understand how political decisions are made and how companies and organizations work strategically to navigate them.
You follow what’s happening at Christiansborg and in the public debate, and you want to work professionally with Public Affairs as a consulting discipline.
We imagine that you
- Are studying, for example, political science, social sciences, politics and administration, journalism, rhetoric or similar
- Have an interest in and want to learn more about Public Affairs and societal communication
- Are willing to become a capable project manager, work in a structured way, and are at the same time proactive on practical tasks where several elements must come together
- Thrive with both analysis and coordination and are curious and dare to ask smart questions to the “usual”
- Want to take responsibility, seek tasks and contribute your own ideas on how a task or deliverable can be solved best
As part of the "Radius Talent" you get
- A tailored internship program with a focus on Public Affairs, where we together create an ambitious development plan for your learning goals during your time with us
- A thorough introduction to advisor life, clients, working methods and the full public affairs toolkit
- A mentor who follows you through the entire program
- Opportunities to work closely with some of the industry’s most experienced advisors who can teach you about public affairs, crisis management, PR and press work, corporate communication and much more
- A central role in Radius CPH's work with Folkemødet 2027 and participation on Bornholm
- Opportunity to participate in our regular Thursday clubs, our Friday bars and Radius CPH Academy
The framework
The internship typically starts in January 2027 and runs through and including June 2027. You will have the title of Public Affairs intern and work full-time during the period. The internship is paid, and the program can be adjusted if your studies have special requirements.
