Your new everyday

Humlehusene Daghjem is a day service for residents with dementia. Here you will be part of a daily life where presence, recognisability and good relationships are crucial for the citizens' well-being and their ability to participate actively in the community.

We collaborate closely across our three day homes. Two day homes are targeted at residents with dementia, while the third is for people with brain injury. The collaboration provides opportunities for professional sparring, knowledge sharing and assistance across when daily life calls for it. In addition, we have a close collaboration with the municipality's dementia team, which contributes professional sparring and coherence in the efforts around the citizens.

We work with Tom Kitwood's approach and person-centred care. This means that we see the person before the disease and plan support and activities based on each citizen's life story, resources, wishes and needs. We work closely with relatives, whom we regard as an important resource.

Your tasks will include

• establishing safe and trusting relationships with the citizens and engaging in close collaboration with their relatives, whom we consider strong partners
• planning and conducting activities that are meaningful for both the individual and the group
• supporting physical activity, movement and outdoor life as a natural part of the daily routine
• observing the citizens' well-being and adjusting the effort in close collaboration with colleagues
• actively contributing to cross-departmental collaboration between the three day homes and the nearby nursing home
• documenting professional observations and interventions in the care system Cura.

We are looking for you who

• are trained as a Social and Health Care Helper or Pedagogical Assistant
• are professionally curious and want to work person-centred with people with dementia
• are skilled in relational work and meet the citizens with respect, calm and presence
• can generate ideas for and implement activities based on the citizens' resources and interests
• have an eye for both the individual citizen and the group’s community
• are keen to use nature and create opportunities for movement and physical activity
• can work independently and at the same time be an active team player in a close interprofessional collaboration
• express yourself clearly and professionally in written documentation. (Knowledge of Cura is an advantage, but not a requirement.)
