RE-ADVERTISEMENT – Healthcare professionals sought for a permanent evening shift at Engparken

Do you have a heart for elderly care, and are you passionate about creating security, presence and quality of life for our residents? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for at Engparken!

We are seeking healthcare professionals to fill a permanent evening shift of 30 hours per week with work every other weekend. Start as soon as possible. Working hours are 14.00–22.00 or 15.00–23.00.

About Engparken

Engparken is a care center in Brande with 45 residential units. The care center was built in 1998 and offers bright, friendly and well-designed homes. We focus on a good everyday life and create safe environments that meet the individual resident's needs. With an active day care and many volunteers, we offer an environment with presence and community.

We work based on Tom Kitwood's theory of person-centered care, where the resident's life history and needs are central. Our approach is rehabilitative, with a focus on supporting the residents’ activity and independence.

Your role

You will join a team where you have responsibility for a small group of residents together with a permanent colleague, and you will work closely with social and health care assistants, social and health assistants, nurses, an occupational therapist and other staff. Relatives are involved as important partners.

Your key tasks will include

• To provide personal care and support with a focus on respect and dignity
• To support residents’ evening routines and ensure safety
• To observe and respond to changes in residents’ condition
• To ensure relevant and comprehensive documentation.
• To collaborate with other professional groups to ensure holistic care
• To contribute to a good and calm evening environment where residents feel seen and heard

We are looking for you who

• Have a relevant healthcare education
• Have experience with elderly care and personal care
• Are responsible, empathetic and flexible
• Can remain calm and maintain overview in busy situations
• Have good teamwork skills and can communicate clearly with residents, relatives and colleagues
• Are motivated to contribute to the development of professional quality and the good everyday life at Engparken
• Are motivated to create safe and dignified evenings for our residents
• Wish to work in the evening shift
