The position as civil-servant employed parish priest in Gammel Haderslev Parish, Haderslev Cathedral Deanery is available for appointment on 1 January 2027 .

To the position is attached an obligation as church book registrar and funeral authority.

The position is a full-time position.

As a new parish priest you will receive an introductory program, where you will have a mentor who guides you through the early period of your tenure and familiarizes you with the various tasks that are part of a priest's duties.

The position is covered by the Royal Decree on the employment in positions in the Church of Denmark (LBK no. 864 of 25/6/2013)

The position is remunerated according to pay group 2 in the agreement on remuneration of civil-servant priests in the Church of Denmark. It is a prerequisite for placement in LG 2 that the person appointed has completed the mandatory further education or NY PRÆST.

In addition to the salary, a floating allowance is paid with a rounded base amount as of 31 March 2012 for a full-time position of DKK 43,000.00 annually. For part-time employment the allowance will be calculated in proportion to the employment quota.

The position is covered by the rules on New Salary, which makes it possible to request a salary negotiation.

There is a service residence attached to the position. The service residence is located at Ribe Landevej 17, 6100 Haderslev.

The housing allowance for the service residence excluding electricity, water and heating costs amounts at present to DKK 5,838.59. The service residence will be assessed before moving in, and the housing allowance will be set based on this assessment.

It is assumed that applicants have a driving license for a standard car (B) and are willing to use their own car for the job.
