About Hammer Bakker Reintegration Prison
Staying at Denmark’s Prison Service reintegration prisons can be part of reintegration into society in the final part of a sentence. All reintegration prisons accept both women and men. The purpose of the stay at a Reintegration Prison is to support and help the individual create a situation that makes the person better able to live a life without crime.
There is room for 27 residents spread across five departments, of which one department is a family house. The family house specializes in pedagogical and social work with families where one or both parents are incarcerated.
During the day, residents are either employed outside the reintegration prison with work or education, or they are at the house where they must participate in various activities.
Your tasks as a night shift employee will primarily be

- Case processing in the form of e.g. preparing and following up on professionally qualified action plans, further reintegration as well as releases in close cooperation with both internal and external partners
- To lead and participate in various activities with residents, where relationship work is what carries the task
- Make the reintegration time as close to the lived life as possible and include the surrounding civil society
- To work with group dynamics and residents’ social skills in the different departments, which hold an obligatory meeting once a week and a common resident meeting once a month
- Practical ad hoc tasks
About you

- You master professional relationship-building with residents
- You are structured, independent and can maintain an overview in a daily life with many varied tasks, where the resident is the focus
- You are able to create a close and respectful interdisciplinary collaboration with the reintegration prison’s other staff and contribute to a healthy and safe environment with learning and development in mind
- You have insight into and a desire for interdisciplinary collaboration with authorities and partners
