Regional Manager for Zealand and Greater Copenhagen

Do you want to achieve strong results through others and help develop Silvan's stores? Do you have retail acumen, influence, and a desire to make a difference for both customers and colleagues? Then you might be our new Regional Manager.

As Regional Manager you will be responsible for leading and developing the stores in your region. You will work closely with the store managers to create good customer experiences, strong teams and efficient operations. You set a clear direction, follow up and help the managers translate goals into action in everyday life.

You will have four regional manager colleagues and report directly to our CSO, Rasmus Kjærgaard. Together with the stores and the head office you will be an important part of Silvan's ongoing development.

At Silvan we are working on a number of exciting projects intended to make everyday life easier for our customers. We test new solutions, learn along the way and adjust when experience shows a better path. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute with your ideas and experience – while also playing an important role in making new initiatives work in the stores.

Create results through strong leadership

Your daily work takes place close to the stores, where you coach the managers, challenge habits and follow up on both people and results.

Your key tasks will be to

• Lead, motivate and develop the store managers and support strong leadership teams in the stores.
• Ensure good customer experiences and sales-ready stores that live up to Silvan's concepts and standards.
• Create results in sales, profitability and operations through clear goals and ongoing follow-ups.
• Work with talent development, well-being and retention so we develop both current and future leaders.
• Translate strategy and new initiatives into concrete actions in the stores.
• Optimize staffing, resource use and workflows with an eye for both the customer experience and the stores' finances.
• Share experiences and develop solutions across regions and in collaboration with the head office.

You have retail sense and a people-oriented approach

You are an experienced leader who understands retail and knows that good results require both a clear direction and engaged employees. You set clear expectations, provide useful coaching and follow up. At the same time you are curious about others' perspectives and take responsibility to find solutions together.

We imagine that you

• Have at least five years of leadership experience from retail or a similar area – preferably with responsibility for several stores or leading other leaders.
• Have proven results in sales, operations leadership and development of employees.
• Work in a structured way and use sales figures and operating data to prioritize and drive improvements.
• Communicate clearly and build trust and followership across the organization.
• Can prioritise in a busy day and create momentum, even when new solutions require adjustments along the way.
• Are an experienced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Master English at business level in both written and spoken form.

Experience from the DIY industry is an advantage, but the most important is your business understanding and ability to create results through a strong team.
