In the group arrangement at Hedegårdsskolen you have the opportunity to develop and unfold your professional competencies.

We are looking for a teacher with strong relationship skills for the early years in our group arrangement. You now have a unique opportunity to become part of a workplace with many lovely students and a kind and strong staff group, where there is room for exciting academic and social tasks in a close team and parent collaboration.

With us you are never alone with the teaching task – we work closely in the team and support each other in daily life. Your subject specializations may ideally be mathematics and within the natural science field, but it is not decisive, as we can use all subject combinations; most important is your passion and ability to create an inclusive learning environment where each pupil can develop and experience success. The daily routine is arranged so there is time for collaboration, joint planning and sparring with psychologists and counselors.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about teaching early primary students with special needs.

Our students are generally cognitively within the normal range and typically have challenges regarding social contact and interaction/attention and concentration.

So can you keep a cool head, a warm heart and high spirits – even when there are many balls in the air? Are you passionate about helping children with special needs such as ADHD, autism and involuntary high school absenteeism to find their strengths and experience success?

Then you may be our new teaching colleague in the group arrangement.

Your most important tasks are

In collaboration with your team, to create safety and an exciting, motivating learning environment for the students who need special pedagogical assistance and a specially adapted teaching that goes beyond what the ordinary school can offer.

• That you see the students' resources, and set goals for their academic, social and personal development
• That you see the student as an important actor in their own life and learning, and that the student’s perspective and interests are included in the work
• That you enter into a close, binding collaboration with the parents, your team, your department and your management.

Who are we Hedegårdsskolen is a development-oriented school with good physical facilities that provide opportunities for exciting pedagogy. Hiring process and salary

The appointment date is December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.

We conduct interviews as we receive applications.

The position is initially 37 hours and a permanent position.

We offer salary and employment terms according to the collective agreement for teachers at schools in municipalities.

Employment takes place according to the principles of local wage formation and after agreement with the negotiating organization authorized to bargain.

The salary range for the position is 37,318.76 DKK – 50,028.71 DKK per month without pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is set after negotiations between the employer and the trade union that has the right to negotiate on the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
