About the task

You will become part of a small team around a young woman with autism who is of normal intelligence and has a complex trauma background. She needs extensive support to create structure, predictability and coherence in her daily life.

The task requires you to work persistently and patiently with relationship-building. Trust does not arise overnight, and it is crucial that you can be stable, calm and clear – even when the relationship is challenged.

The young woman may exhibit self-harming behavior. You must therefore be able to act professionally and calmly in stressful situations while also being curious about what her behavior communicates.

Work takes place in 24-hour shifts on both weekdays and weekends.

Your tasks will include among other things to

• create a safe, predictable and structured everyday life
• provide clear and caring guidance
• assist with planning and execution of daily activities
• work purposefully with relationship-building and emotional regulation
• prevent conflicts and self-harming behavior
• maintain calm and overview in pressurized situations
• follow common professional agreements, action plans and structures
• document observations and the pedagogical interventions
• collaborate closely and loyally with colleagues and management

We are looking for someone who

• is mentally robust, calm and emotionally stable
• communicates clearly, concretely and respectfully
• can be clear and directive without being harsh
• can work independently and at the same time engage loyally in close teamwork
• can handle rejection and resistance without taking it personally
• is patient and understands that a sustainable relationship takes time and continuity
• can reflect on your own role and receive professional feedback
• can work according to fixed agreements and avoid individual solutions not agreed in the team
• has a driving license

You do not need to be trained as a pedagogue. Your personal approach, stability and experience are highly valued. Experience from one-on-one projects, the specialized field, psychiatry, autism, or work with trauma and self-harming behavior will be a clear advantage.
