Interpersonally strong temporary staff for Fuglebakken - a home for young people in need of caring, present adults

Family area - 24-hour care is seeking engaged and responsible substitutes for Fuglebakken. We need regular substitutes who can step in for illness, holidays and peak periods.

As a substitute you become part of everyday life with six young people between 15 and 22 years old, where you create security, support the young people in their daily lives and handle both the good and difficult situations. You will receive a thorough introduction to tasks, methods and documentation and become part of a professional environment where we work consciously with relationships and take responsibility for our meeting with the young people.

About Fuglebakken

Fuglebakken is a home for children and youths, with space for six young people between 15 and 22 years old. We work from an affirming and mentalizing approach, with a focus on pedagogical relational competence. This means that we meet the young people with curiosity, respect and clarity and take responsibility for the quality of the relationships.

About the job

As a substitute you become part of a professionally strong environment where we work based on Fredericia Municipality's view of children and the strategy for the specialized social area.

Your tasks will include

• Create safety and stable frames for the young people.
• Engage in structured pedagogical work with a focus on relationships.
• Support the young people in their everyday life including school, education and leisure.
• Participate in practical tasks in the house.
• Document observations and interventions in our journals system.
• Handle conflicts and acute situations professionally.

We are looking for you who

• Are educated social educator, pedagogue or SSA – or have relevant experience.
• Can remain calm and keep an overview in pressured situations.
• Have strong relational skills and can build trust with young people.
• Thrive with variable working hours, day, evening, night and weekend shifts.
• Have a driving license (B), as the position involves driving in connection with accompanying the young people to their appointments and activities.

Salary and employment terms

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the bargaining union.
