Relief caregiver needed for a 2-year-old boy

Would you like to become an important part of our family, where your help will give our 2-year-old boy good, positive experiences? Your time with our child will also give us a break and more time with our other child.

We are looking for a kind and compassionate relief caregiver who would like to spend time with a happy and trusting boy who has developmental delays and special needs. In addition to the general needs of a 1- to 2-year-old, he becomes overstimulated and overwhelmed very quickly and needs shielding and help with regulation. His reaction to overstimulation is very demanding for the whole family. We do our best to support and help him, but we need some extra help at particularly challenging times.

Your help and time with our son will typically take place either in our home or outdoors. Outdoor activities can include walks, the playground, playing in the garden, or simply enjoying the nice weather. Indoor activities can be playing a game.

Working hours will vary and be planned in collaboration with us. There may be hours on both weekdays and weekends.

Currently there are 22 hours per month, distributed by agreement with us and the Family Counseling (Familierådgivningen).

You will be employed by Mariagerfjord Municipality. In connection with the employment, a child and criminal record check will be obtained, and you will receive a contract and guidance on how to report your hours.
