Cleaning Technician or House Assistant for RHN, Hjørring

About the job In this role you will be a key player in keeping the hospital environment clean, safe and inviting.

• You will become part of the service team on floor 205 which is a medical ward
• The service team supports treatment and care through professional cleaning and practical tasks that make daily life run smoothly for both patients and staff.
• It requires both professionalism, flexibility and a willingness to lend a hand when needed.

You will have fixed tasks, but the day-to-day can be varied, and you will meet many different people. Your core tasks include, among others:

• Meal handling for patients for all meals of the day. You must be able to handle meal ordering, plating and serving for the patients.
• Daily cleaning of patient rooms, corridors, toilets and common areas where hygiene and safety are extra important and it is done according to established standards
• Handling of cleaning agents and machines in a safe and responsible manner
• Waste management, refilling of soap dispensers, paper, m.m.
• A close collaboration with care staff and other professional groups to create clean and safe environments
• To contribute to ongoing improvement of workflows and high quality in the cleaning

Working hours

• You will receive a provisional plan for 24 weeks, but you will always know your plan 4 weeks ahead.
• The work plan as well as holidays and time off are arranged in your co-determining team in collaboration with the manager.
• The shifts vary:
• On weekdays day shifts from 6:00-13:54 and late shifts from 11:36-19:00.
• On weekends there is a shift every 4 weeks in day shifts from 6:00-13:24.

About you You do not necessarily need many years of experience from a hospital, but you must be willing to take responsibility for the quality of your work and care that the details are in place.

• Education or 3 years of experience in cleaning, house assistant work or service trades
• Knowledge of or interest in hygiene, cleaning standards and use of cleaning agents
• Good Danish language skills so you can communicate with patients, relatives and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and in a structured way – even when it is busy.
• You can expect to be relieved in other cleaning teams on equal terms with your colleagues.
