We need another skilled and caring teacher with a major in mathematics for our primary school in the early years at Søhøj.

In our primary years we have many two-adult teaching periods, and you will become part of a professional learning community consisting of teachers and pedagogues who work together to ensure that the students thrive and become as capable as they can.

With the slogan "it is about children" , we are seeking an engaged and academically strong mathematics teacher who is passionate about creating safe, inspiring and developmental learning environments for children in their first year of school.

We are looking for you who has mathematics as your major subject, and who is motivated to make mathematics fun, lively, concrete and meaningful for the students. You see teamwork as a strength and are keen to engage in a close and professional collaboration with colleagues, where together we plan, evaluate and develop the teaching with students' well-being and learning at the center. You will become part of a team that prioritizes camaraderie, professional sparring and a curious approach to teaching and pedagogy.

We are organized in self-managing teams, which together lift both the teaching task and all other tasks related to the teaching task. For us that means we are "Together on the task" .

We prioritize pedagogical discussion and have good opportunities for sparring with our strong mentoring corps, which also facilitates exciting and educational processes in the classrooms.

We are part of Ølstykke School, which consists of two divisions: Maglehøj with about 480 students and Søhøj with about 560 students.

Working conditions: We have in Egedal Municipality a local agreement that ensures good time for preparation. The time for individual preparation is placed within normal working hours, and teachers can relocate this time to places other than the school. There is a fixed meeting day on Tuesdays until 16.00, and the remaining working hours can be flexible.
