Reposting: Social workers for a newly started soloist offer at Gydehøj Housing and Day Service

We are still looking for skilled colleagues for our new team. At Gydehøj in Gribskov Municipality we are seeking social-educational workers for Team 5, which is an intensive residential service with a specially targeted effort around one resident with mental and physical developmental disabilities.

You will be employed by Gribskov Municipality at Gydehøj, which contains three social residential care facilities and an activity offering under the social services law §§ 108, 104 and 105 spread across sites in Græsted and Esbønderup – and you will work daily with Team 5 on the site in Græsted.

Your most important competences in Team 5

We are looking for someone who can and wants to be an active part of a specialized solo service where the quality of relationship work and professional curiosity are decisive.

We are looking for someone who can see themselves in several of these points

• You have a social-educational background – for example as a social educator – and contribute with relevant experience that can be included in Team 5’s overall professional foundation.
• You thrive in value-based work where respect for the resident's individuality, personal integrity and right to self- and mutual determination guide the professional effort.
• You naturally work with dialogue, collaboration and a cross-cutting holistic view – both in daily collegial collaboration and in interaction with the resident and relatives.
• You are willing to embrace change and learning and are curious about both your own and shared practice so that we continuously can develop and qualify the efforts in Team 5.
• You appreciate influence and co-determination and contribute actively to shared reflection, planning and development of the team's professionalism and workflows.
• You can work structured with pedagogical analyses, methods, structures and development processes that ensure both compensation for functional limitations and optimal development conditions.

Your central tasks in the new solo service

Team 5 is a special arrangement with a focus on an intensive and targeted effort around one resident. The aim is to create a daily life characterized by safety, well-being and clarity – and thereby support the development of the resident's personal competencies.

Your tasks will include among other things

• Translating Gydehøj’s common core task into concrete practice in the resident's home so the resident experiences privacy, homeliness, coherence and meaningful everyday activities.
• Creating an environment where the resident experiences safety, presence, security, belonging and attachment – and where one’s own emotions are experienced as legitimate and okay.
• Working with a holistic pedagogical support that includes practical help, structure and guidance while at the same time ensuring compensation for functional limitations through targeted pedagogical methods and analyses.
• Being curious about the resident's initiatives and signals, ensuring they are captured and brought into joint reflection and action in the team, so the care is continuously adapted to the resident's current needs.
• Supporting the resident's experience of being valued, useful and meaningful, and actively working with the resident's social contacts and family relationships.
• Ensuring that the resident is presented with relevant and manageable offers, experiences and choices that can increase quality of life, life skills and the perception of personal resources.

You will join a team that continuously works to strengthen the common professionalism so that the framework around the resident is stable, safe and in constant professional development.

The positions are 37 hours with start on January 1, 2027.

Salary according to current collective agreement. You will be employed as a social educator or as a care and pedagogue assistant, depending on your educational background.

Criminal record checks will be obtained in connection with the employment.
