Restaurant Manager at Hotel Strandparken in Holbæk

We are now seeking a restaurant manager , who has passion and drive to develop our front of house service.

In addition to our à la carte restaurant, you will be responsible for our breakfast, conference and events department. Naturally in close collaboration with your team. It is important for us that you are a skilled and structured leader who can create a good working day for yourself and your colleagues.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operation of our front of house F&B, including breakfast, lunch, conferences, events and our new à la carte restaurant.
• Shift plan for the waiter team.
• Ensuring economic and experiential key figures.
• Training and development of your team - both professionally and in service aspects.
• Event conversations in collaboration with our coordinator.

We expect that you

• Are a skilled waiter, or have equivalent professional knowledge.
• Are an effective and motivating leader, who is happy to lead from the front – but who also dares to let others take the lead.
• Are independent in your work, but work purposefully toward a strong professional collaboration across the house.
• That you actively participate in operations, and believe that your team is motivated by working together with you - and not for you.
• Have experience with collective agreements , or are ready to learn more.
• Will help bring Hotel Strandparken into its new glory days , where we shall again be known as "the city's hotel".

Following a recent ownership change at Hotel Strandparken, the course is set toward new ambitions where we not only focus on the business segment but equally energize our leisure segment. In practice, this means that we are currently undergoing a thorough restructuring of the hotel, including concept and product development, organization, and testing new sales channels. There will therefore be ample opportunity to influence your future workplace.
