Rosengården in Lundby is seeking a permanent employee for people with developmental disabilities

We are seeking a permanent employee for adults with developmental disabilities, who can help and guide our residents during their morning bathing and morning hygiene. Assist with cooking, cleaning. Transport residents to e.g. physiotherapy and riding, work according to pedagogical goals. Your background can be as a Pedagogue or pedagogical assistant, but with experience in the field. The average working hours are 37.00 per week, with different shifts according to the shift plan and working every other weekend.

Rosengården is a self-governing residential facility for residents with intellectual developmental disabilities aged 18-80. Rosengården is located in the countryside on a larger plot with a small forest just outside Sværdborg – about 10 km north of Vordingborg at the address Sværdborgvej 94, 4750 Lundby.

Rosengården was established in 1965 by the residents’ parents. Several of the residents have lived at Rosengården for more than 50 years. The staff consists of pedagogues, pedagogical assistants and care helpers. Rosengården has its own bus which is used to drive residents to work at a sheltered workshop and other daily activities, and is also used for weekend trips.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a Pedagogue
• Ideally has experience with developmentally disabled
• Holds the concepts of dignity, respect and presence as a self-evident part of you
• Has a positive and constructive approach to dialogue with both residents, relatives and colleagues
• Is open, has humor and is good at creating job satisfaction
• Has ethical integrity in your work
• Valid driving license B
