Are you passionate about wound care, professional development and complex citizen pathways? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you

In Randers Municipality, we are strengthening our efforts in the wound care and specialist area.

Today we have one skilled wound care nurse in Area South, but we want to strengthen the function further. Going forward we will have three wound care nurses, one for each of our districts in Area South, which are District Assentoft, District Tirsdalen and District Centrum.

Therefore we are now looking for two new wound care nurses, who together with our current wound care nurse will help strengthen quality and professionalism within wound care close to the citizens.

As a wound care nurse you will have a central role in working with citizens with complex and specialized wounds. You will also be an important professional sparring partner for your colleagues and have the opportunity to help develop the wound care effort in your district and across Randers Municipality.

Your daily work

You will among other things

  • manage complex and specialized wound care
  • perform daily wound triage and keep an overview of citizens with complex wounds
  • be the project lead on complex wound pathways and follow up on treatment plans in your own district
  • support colleagues and wound care key persons through professional sparring and bedside learning
  • work with telemedicine follow-up and Plejenet
  • teach and develop colleagues’ competencies within wound care and prevention
  • contribute to quality assurance, development and implementation of new initiatives
  • have depot responsibility and ensure relevant nursing supplies
  • collaborate with nursing homes, housing facilities and relevant external partners.

As a wound care nurse you will, in addition to a colleague in your own district, also be part of a professional community with the other wound care nurses, where you can spar with each other, share knowledge and together help develop the wound care effort.

We imagine that you

  • are a licensed nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • have experience with and interest in wound care
  • have relevant continuing education in wound care or motivation to achieve it
  • are eager to share your knowledge and develop your colleagues’ competencies
  • can create overview, prioritize and coordinate complex pathways
  • work with an appreciative, interdisciplinary and rehabilitative approach
  • are proactive, initiativeminded and development-oriented.

We offer

You will get an exciting specialist function with high professionalism, independence and the opportunity to make a difference.

You will become part of a professional community where we value sparring, collaboration and development highly. At the same time you will have the opportunity to help shape and further develop the strengthened wound care efforts in the municipality.

The position is full-time.

You report to the district managers and will work closely with nurses, wound care key persons, other professional groups as well as nursing homes and housing facilities.

Would you like to join?

If you are passionate about wound care and motivated by combining specialized nursing, professional sparring and development, we look forward to hearing from you.

If you have any questions you can contact the nurse manager Luise Bach, phone 29 44 06 68.

We expect to hold interviews on 28 October 2026.

Interviews will take place at Plejecenter Tirsdalen.

Application deadline: 25 October 2026

Start date: 1 December 2026

Workplace: Randers Municipality, Area South
