About the job
Do you have an eye for details, like customer contact – and do you thrive being the one who makes things happen?
Then you may be our new internal sales employee at Falco A/S in Vejen.
You’ll have a central role in our office and will often be the first people our customers meet when they call us. Therefore we are looking for a colleague who is approachable, service-minded and eager to help customers move forward smoothly.
At the same time, you will be an important part of the engine room behind our sales.
When a case becomes an order, you take over and ensure it goes all the way through safely. You keep track of orders with suppliers, delivery, coordination with the customer and our assembly team as well as invoicing.
In short: you make it all work.
Your everyday life with us
A large part of the job involves customer contact and order coordination. You will among other things:
•handle incoming inquiries and prepare smaller offers
•take over cases when they become orders and follow them all the way to the end
•order goods from our suppliers and the parent company in the Netherlands
•coordinate delivery, installation and practical details with customers, suppliers and installers
•invoice completed orders
•assist our salespeople with offers, order follow-up and other administrative tasks
•help with the many small and large tasks that naturally arise in a smaller office
•depending on your interests and competencies there may also be opportunities to work with different marketing tasks
You will therefore have a daily life with a good mix of customer service, sales support, order processing and coordination.
Who do we imagine you are?
Your education and precise background are not the most important to us. Perhaps you have already gained a couple of years of experience with customer service, sales or administration and are now ready for a job with more responsibility and more varied tasks.
You do not need to have many years of experience or know our industry beforehand. The most important thing is that you enjoy customer contact, work in a structured way, take initiative and are willing to learn the rest.
We particularly emphasize that you
•enjoy talking to customers and meet them professionally and positively
•work in a structured way and want to take responsibility for your own tasks
•have drive and take initiative when you can see something needs doing
•can keep an overview when the phone rings while you are in the middle of another task, or when changes occur in a fraught case
•are good at collaborating, contribute and are not afraid to ask
•are flexible and ready to help where you are needed. In busy periods orders and coordination take up most time, while in quieter periods there can be more focus on ex. proactive sales and customer follow-up
•can communicate in English, as we have ongoing contact with our parent company in the Netherlands.
Knowledge of the construction industry, technical products or installation is an advantage but certainly not a requirement. We will learn the products and industry for you.
What we offer
You will become part of a dedicated team with extensive industry knowledge and an informal tone, where there is room for humor and having fun while we get the work done.
We work closely together, help each other to reach the goal and have a short path from idea to action. There will be days with high tempo and many balls in the air – and other days where there is more time to follow up with customers and new opportunities.
We are a small team where we do not focus much on titles or who usually handles what. The role has its fixed areas of responsibility, but is not more rigid than that tasks can change according to need, season and your competencies. The most important thing for us is that we help each other and make things happen.
You will gain freedom and responsibility as you learn the job and our business, and there are good opportunities to develop in the role.
You do not need to know it all from the start. We provide a proper introduction, and you will learn both our products, processes and projects well along the way.
We hope you want to stay with us for many years. In return you get the opportunity to develop and try out new tasks along the way.
The position is, as a rule, 37 hours per week. We offer salary according to qualifications, as well as a pension scheme, 6 weeks of vacation and health insurance for you and your cohabitant.
If the position sounds like something for you, we would love to hear from you. All applications are treated confidentially, and we call for interviews on an ongoing basis.
If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact
Jane Dybdal Lundsgaard at tel. 2926 4567.
