ScanPeople seeks warehouse operators for day shift in Søborg – 2-month temporary position with possibility of extension and permanent employment

On behalf of an international pharmaceutical company in Søborg, ScanPeople is hiring warehouse operators for a full-time temporary position of two months with the possibility of extension and potential permanent employment.

The important thing is not how many years of warehouse experience you have. We are primarily looking for you who show up reliably, take responsibility and want to learn. You must also thrive with physical work, a high tempo and a day-to-day where tasks and priorities can change.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You start with a thorough training period of about 1-2 weeks before starting the practical warehouse tasks. Here you will, among other things, complete e-courses, work with cases and familiarize yourself with procedures and documentation related to GMP. Some material may be in English, so it is important that you are comfortable reading and understanding English.

After the training, picking and packing become a central part of your workday. The work is active and physical, the pace is high, and you must be prepared for a changing day where tasks can vary.

You will be part of an international warehouse environment with around 30 employees with different nationalities and backgrounds. Much of the daily communication and collaboration in the warehouse takes place in English, so you must be comfortable speaking and understanding English in a normal workday.

Your tasks will include

• Picking of goods according to orders
• Packing and preparation of goods
• Handling and movement of goods in the warehouse
• Correct handling of goods in accordance with applicable procedures and GMP requirements
• Contributing to order, structure and an efficient workflow
• Collaboration with colleagues in an international warehouse environment

The work involves physical handling of goods and items weighing up to approximately 15-25 kg.

YOUR PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL BACKGROUND

You may be relatively new to warehouse work and want to build more experience, or you may have worked in a warehouse for several years and be ready for new surroundings. Both can be relevant. Your attitude, stability and willingness to learn are highly valued.

You must be able to thrive with a combination of thorough and relatively documentation-heavy training and the subsequent active warehouse days. When training is completed, you must be ready for physical work and a high tempo, while working correctly and following established procedures.

• Are willing to learn and prepared for a thorough training period with e-courses, cases and written material
• Can perform physical work and handle goods up to about 15-25 kg
• Work in a structured and careful manner – also when busy
• Are stable, responsible and punctual
• Can operate in English in daily communication with colleagues
• Can read and understand work-related material in English in connection with training
• Can operate in Danish
• Can start as soon as possible

THE COMPANY OFFERS

You will receive a full-time two-month temporary position with an international company in the pharmaceutical industry. There is a possibility that the temporary position may be extended and potentially lead to permanent employment.

You will receive thorough training in the company’s workflows, procedures and GMP requirements, so you are well prepared before starting the practical warehouse tasks. Thereafter an active day awaits with about 30 colleagues in an international work environment where there is a high tempo and close collaboration across different nationalities.

The working hours are day shifts from 08:00-16:00, and if you want more hours, there is an option to take extra shifts and weekend shifts.

The salary is 218.34 DKK per hour. In addition, there is a pension of 11.5% and a flexi-benefit. The employment terms follow DI.
