About the job

School and SFO educator sought for Lund School

Are you passionate about creating participation opportunities for all children, and motivated to take initiative and put your professional skills to use? Then you might be the person we are looking for as a new school educator at Lund School.

We are seeking a committed and proactive school educator for our after-school program (SFO) and lower grades. The position is full-time (37 hours) with start on January 1st or as soon as possible.

About Lund School

Lund School has approximately 670 students from 0th to 9th grade. We have SFO 1 for children in grades 0-3 and SFO 2 for students in grades 4-5.

Our school district is growing, and we are now 4-stream in the lower grades. In the summer of 2026 we opened a new building that now houses both the lower grades and the after-school program, and the spaces give us different and better opportunities for community, learning and well-being.

About the position

As a school educator you will become part of a strong pedagogical community where we collaborate to support children's academic, social and personal development.

You will either be attached to a year group or work closely with a group of children who, for a period of time, need particular support. We are looking for an educator who not only participates in the initiatives we launch, but who also actively contributes with ideas, initiatives and solutions.

We value employees who see opportunities rather than limitations, take responsibility for the tasks and dare to lead when new initiatives need to be translated into practice.

In the SFO we target to create an inspiring leisure offering, where children meet engaged adults who can open new worlds through play, activities and communities. We emphasize that you bring your interests, skills and initiatives into play and help develop our pedagogical offerings.

As a school and SFO educator you accompany the child throughout the day and therefore play an important role in the collaboration with parents, teachers and other partners.

We are looking for an educator who

  • Is a trained educator and has a strong pedagogical professional capacity.
  • Works from a fundamental belief that all children can develop academically, socially and personally when they are met with the right expectations and appropriate support.
  • Is proactive, action-oriented and sees themselves as an active co-creator of pedagogical solutions, activities and communities.
  • Dare to take responsibility, make decisions and translate ideas into action - both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Can bring themselves and their competencies into play in collaboration with children, parents, year-group teams and cross-professional partners.
  • Is clear, relationship-oriented and present - both in teaching and in the children's free play.
  • Is systematic and structured in their approach to tasks and pedagogical practice.
  • Is persistent in working with action plans, practice tracks and development processes for the individual child.
  • Thrives in a daily life where no two days are the same, and where there is often a need to think creatively and act quickly.

We offer

  • A school with a strong collegial community and a collaborative culture characterized by trust, humor and high professional standards.
  • Skilled and engaged colleagues who help each other and lift each other in teamwork.
  • Opportunity to influence the development of both school and after-school pedagogy.
  • A workplace in development where new ideas and initiatives are well received.
  • A work environment where we want it to be both exciting, meaningful and fun to go to work.

If you would like to help create a school and SFO where all children feel they belong and succeed, we look forward to hearing from you.

We will hold interviews in week 48.

Application deadline: November 13, 2026
