School nurse for the school health service

• is a trained health visitor (school nurse)
• is professionally well-founded and can use your professional judgement with the citizen perspective in focus

• can handle many balls in the air and can prioritise in the tasks
• is good at communicating and creating constructive dialogues both orally and in writing

Salary and employment terms

The available position is 32 hours per week to be filled by December 1, 2026. The employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and local pay formation. The Secretariat for Children and Youth is located in Administrationscenter Fælleden 1, 8660 Skanderborg.

About the Secretariat for Children and Youth

The health service in Skanderborg Municipality is organized within the Health Service in the Secretariat for Children and Youth. In the Health Service there are health visitors as well as occupational and physical therapists. We are organized into three groups - a toddler group, a school group and a therapy group with two department heads and a manager. The Health Service is physically located at Fælleden, Skanderborg Administration Center, together with PPR, B&U Secretariat and Family Counseling.

The Secretariat for Children & Youth deals with the municipality's residents between 0 and 18 years. This covers everything from schools, day care, PPR, and health service to SSP and specialist and social counseling. The mission of Children and Youth is to support every family’s efforts to create the good childhood, where children and young people thrive and develop in safe surroundings. All of this takes place under the political vision that all children have the right to a good childhood, where they experience joy, safety, engagement, enthusiasm and resilience in relation to life’s challenges.
