School principal for Grønnemose School

With just under 800 pupils, five newly established strands, after-school care (SFO), club, NEST environments and the municipality's largest group arrangement the school contains both volume, complexity and a special potential: to develop strong children's communities, where general education and special education areas are integrated as one school. Now Gladsaxe Municipality is seeking a school principal who can step clearly into that space.

As school principal you will have a central role in gathering the school's many perspectives and creating direction for the next chapter. We achieve good academic results and succeed in lifting the many students in different areas. You should build on what already works, strengthen cohesion across the school and bring the voices of students, the staff's professional expertise, parents' engagement and the municipality's ambitions even closer together in the school's daily life and development.

Children's and young people's perspectives are part of the school's development power – and as school principal you will have an important task in translating that into clear direction, common practice and strong participation opportunities for all.

You will have five leaders and a deputy reporting directly to you, and you will simultaneously be part of a close, strategic school leadership community in a municipality where school development is highly prioritized, and where there are clear ambitions for children, well-being and learning.

We are seeking a leader with strong subject matter expertise, organizational overview and the desire to lead a school where there is a lot at stake – and much to succeed with. A leader who can combine presence with direction. And a leader who can unite people, create alignment and stay the course, even when many considerations must be balanced.
