School Psychologist Wanted at Skolerne i Boserup

Skolerne i Boserup is a treatment and special education provision for pupils who for various reasons do not thrive in the general public school and who need special education as well as social-pedagogical treatment. Our pupils often have social and emotional challenges, attention disorders and/or diagnoses within the autism spectrum.

We have 30 pupils. Skolerne i Boserup consists of several small class units, and we have pupils at all grade levels. A number of pupils require 1-1 support in both instructional contexts and pedagogical activities. Some are taught at the school, a few away from the school.

We use ADHD- and autism-pedagogy, relational pedagogy, low arousal, mentalization and social skills training. We have many good opportunities to bring the common 3. into play. We have livestock including horses and dogs. Nature is right outside the door with Boserup Forest and Roskilde Fjord. We employ pedagogical principles with practice-related, present, contemporary teaching with opportunities for excursions and trips in the school cars.

We place great emphasis on parental contact.

We are looking for a psychologist who can undertake the following tasks

Participation in intake and assessment of new pupils.

Contributing to the development of treatment plans for the school's pupils.

Supervision of teachers and pedagogues regarding daily teaching and treatment.

Conversations with pupils.

Psychological guidance and teaching of teachers and pedagogues regarding the pupils and their families.

Participation in network meetings.

Psychological testing and observation of pupils with a view to establishing an appropriate treatment and teaching.

About the position

Permanent employment 25-37 hours per week.
