About us

Hældagerskolen is a large well-run public school with about 850 pupils and about 140 staff. The school is three- and four-stream from 0.-9. grade and also contains a center department for pupils with movement disabilities as well as specific cognitive difficulties.

There is after-school care (SFO) attached to the school with about 400 pupils.

The school has good physical facilities with a sports hall, playing fields and the forest as the nearest neighbor, and parts of the school have recently been renovated to create the best possible framework for children and adults.

About the job

We are seeking a colleague who is enthusiastic about science subjects, teaching and relational work, and who wants to be an active part of the school's joint efforts to ensure that all children thrive, learn and develop.

We expect that you

• are trained as a teacher with major subjects in one or more of the following subjects: Biology, Geography, Physics, Mathematics and also preferably languages.
• actively participate in a well-functioning work community.
• have the ability to create and adapt the learning environment to the pupil group.
• are passionate about the development, well-being and learning of children and young people.

Terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment according to collective agreement and local pay. This is a permanent full-time position starting 1 December 2026 – possibly earlier. Part-time will also be possible.

Information about starting salary

Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for the Danish Teachers’ Association. The expected full-time salary excluding pension is between 34,000-42,000 DKK per month depending on seniority and qualifications. Final salary determination occurs according to the applicable collective agreement and based on qualifications and experience.

We will obtain a child certificate and a public criminal record.
