About the position

Most of our customers run their business in Microsoft’s universe: mail, collaboration, user management and often also cloud infrastructure. We are seeking a Security Engineer who can help our customers securely set up their Microsoft environments and use the security tools they already have at their disposal, including Microsoft’s strong threat hunting capabilities.

You will work closely with our customers, often directly in their organizations, helping review, set up and improve security in their Microsoft environment. It can range from user and access management to email security and devices, and over time may also include broader parts of the customers’ infrastructure, depending on where your interests and the customers’ needs align.

You don’t need to know it all from day one - but we need you to already be able to handle part of the work at a solid level so you can contribute to customers from the start. Along the way we build on what you can do and develop yourself, among other things in offensive techniques and tools, so you are able to identify holes in customers’ configurations before others do.

Your upcoming responsibilities

• Strengthen our customers’ security and find vulnerabilities through security tools and ethical hacking
• Review and improve the security in customers’ Microsoft environments (e.g., user management, access control, mail and devices)
• Setting security settings and policies based on best practice
• Use of Microsoft’s security tools, including threat hunting, to uncover and close gaps in customers’ configurations
• Advising customers in plain language on what they should change and why it matters
• Participation in security projects for customers - from mapping and setup to handover
• Contribute to further developing how we work with Microsoft security internally

We imagine that you

• Have experience with IT operations, infrastructure or security - e.g. as a system administrator, IT support or similar
• Have experience with and/or strong interest in cybersecurity and want to specialize further in the field
• Have some familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Azure, and want to dive deeper into the security part
• Can communicate technical recommendations in a simple and action-oriented way to customers without deep technical background
• Thrive in being with customers on site and build trusting relationships
• Work in a structured way and take ownership of own tasks
• Speak Danish and have a good command of technical English

It’s a big plus if you

• Have experience with identity and access management (e.g., Entra ID/Azure AD)
• Think like an attacker - interest in or experience with pentesting and vulnerability assessment
• Have knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001 or GDPR
• Have certifications in Microsoft security (e.g., SC-200, SC-300, SC-100)
