Aller Leisure is seeking an experienced and business‑oriented Senior Business Controller for the head office in Copenhagen. Here you will get a role with a large amount of interaction and a real opportunity to influence the business through analyses, financial sparring and a solid basis for decision making.

You will be responsible for controlling, reporting, budgeting and financial follow‑up within a significant business area and will work closely with both management and key decision makers across the group.

You will report to the Chief Business Controller (B2C) and become part of a strong financial environment with high professionalism, deep business insight and short lines from analysis to decision.

About the position

As a Senior Business Controller you will hold a key position with responsibility for creating economic insight and supporting strategic and commercial decisions. You will work closely with both management and the business and actively contribute to continued growth, profitability and development.

Your main responsibilities include

• Financial sparring with management within your area of responsibility
• Monthly reporting and follow‑up on performance and results
• Ongoing business controlling and analytical work
• Budgeting, forecasting and estimates
• Internal reporting and follow‑up
• Preparation of decision material for management and the board
• Participation in year‑end and audit‑related tasks
• Identification of improvement opportunities and optimization of processes
• Ad hoc analyses and development projects

Your profile

You have solid experience with business controlling and thrive in the role of business partner for leaders and decision makers. You are motivated by translating data and analyses into concrete insights and recommendations that create value for the business.

We imagine that you

• Have several years of experience as a Business Controller, Senior Business Controller or similar
• Have strong business understanding and can connect financial results with operational and commercial activities
• Are analytically strong and work in a structured way with data and reporting
• Have experience with budgeting, forecasting and performance management
• Have strong system understanding and experience with ERP, BI and reporting tools
• Have an interest in digitalization, automation and the use of AI in the finance function
• Master both Danish and English at a high level
• Have a relevant higher education in economics, finance or accounting
