Senior Cloud consultant – Kubernetes operations in hybrid environments

At Netic we are looking for an experienced colleague for our operational team in Aalborg. You will become part of a Cloud Native environment across four teams in Aalborg, Aarhus and Copenhagen, where we design, implement and operate critical systems for our customers.

Take responsibility for operations You will work with our own Container platform in hybrid environments. In close collaboration with customers and colleagues you will help ensure stability, security and quality in our solutions, and that it works in daily operations.

Your tasks will include

• Implement, maintain and operate specific Cloud Native components in Kubernetes.
• Take technical responsibility within your specialist areas and contribute to common technical choices.
• Solve complex problems and improve the solutions that customers depend on.
• Collaborate with customers about their needs and make technical options and choices understandable.
• Share your knowledge and support less experienced colleagues through professional sparring and mentoring.

You should be keen to both work with the technology and help others succeed with it.

Your experience is more important than a complete tool list We are looking for someone who has solid experience with running Kubernetes in production. You can take responsibility for complex technical tasks and collaborate with both specialists and customers on the solutions.

The technologies with us Depending on your specialist areas you will, among other things, work with:

• Infrastructure and automation : Git, Terraform, Cluster API, Crossplane and Helm.
• Kubernetes, GitOps and networking : Kubernetes, FluxCD, Contour and Istio.
• Observability : Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Grafana, OpenTelemetry and VictoriaMetrics.
• Security and access control : Open Policy Agent, Gatekeeper, Keycloak and Vault/OpenBao.
• Managed services : Kafka/Strimzi, OpenSearch, Valkey, RabbitMQ and CloudNativePG.
