We are looking for a business-oriented colleague for the development of data models, reports and management information at Holbæk Hospital

Holbæk Hospital is in constant development. We emphasize data-driven leadership, and we therefore need an ambitious colleague who wants to have a combination of operations and development tasks, particularly within activity data and management information. Depending on your profile, finance tasks may be linked to the position.

Are you passionate about working with data and BI solutions? Do you want to develop management information and work with large data sets to support the hospital management's and department management's priorities and financial management in a complex organization? Then this position is for you.

About the position

You will take a central role in developing and optimizing data-driven solutions and management information that support department management and hospital leadership in their strategic decisions. You will work with Power BI, SQL and other analytical tools to create analyses that improve capacity utilization, financial management and the hospital's overall operations. You will work closely with another data developer in Finance and Planning. In the transition to a unified Region East Denmark you will play a central role in developing and maintaining the new data and analytics platform in the region.

Who are you?

You have experience with data processing and automation of analyses in a complex organization, or you have a relevant education and are passionate about working with data and analyses including contributing to analyses related to financial management in a complex organization. Experience with or knowledge of healthcare is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Your tasks

• Development and optimization of semantic models and reports in Power BI
• Data processing and analysis of the hospital's activity to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement
• Advising departments and hospital management on data analyses
• Collaboration with clinical departments to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Preparation of written analyses, data extracts and case documents
• Participation in cross-cutting projects and working groups

You will have a broad contact network – both internally at the hospital and externally in collaboration with the Regional House and other hospitals in the region.

We imagine you have a relevant education, e.g. cand.oecon, cand.scient.oecon, cand.polit, cand.merc or cand.scient.san.publ. – but your background could be different if you have the right competencies.

We expect you to

• Have an analytical approach and thrive on working with large data sets
• Be independent, curious and solution-oriented
• Be able to communicate complex analyses in an understandable way
• Be good at collaboration, but also stand firm when required
• Have knowledge of Power BI and SQL – or be willing to learn it
• Be proficient in written and verbal communication

Salary and Employment Terms

We aim to fill the position on 01/12/2026. We expect you to be placed as a special consultant, but salary and terms depend on your qualifications and experience.

Salary and employment terms will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement with the possibility of allowances based on qualifications and experience.

Starting Salary for Agreement Employees

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be provided with the base salary, centrally set allowances and pension under the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
