Senior data engineer

Do you want to translate data into insights that create value across the business?

At HusCompagniet we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong skills in modern data platforms, Power BI, data modeling and DevOps.

You will play a central role in ensuring that our data is available, reliable and presented in a way that supports the right decisions. In addition, you will help drive and implement DevOps approaches with a focus on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. You will work closely with the business, management and the entire IT team to develop and maintain solutions that create transparency and insights across the group.

The position is located in Group IT with the workplace at HusCompagniet's headquarters in Virum, and you will report to the IT Manager.

About the role

We are well underway with restructuring our data platform, and you will be a key player in our work with data, reporting and analysis.

Your primary focus will be to develop and maintain our data platform and Power BI solutions, so the business has access to valid data, user-friendly reports and analyses that help develop the business.

You will work with both technical and business stakeholders and help translate business needs into data solutions.

Your main tasks

• Advise the business on the use of data and reporting
• Develop and maintain the data platform and our Power BI setup
• Design and optimize data models with a focus on performance and scalability
• Perform performance analyses in areas such as finance, sales, construction and procurement
• Participate in projects within data, AI and digital transformation
• Contribute to standardization, documentation and best practices within the data domain
• Collaborate with management, internal stakeholders and external suppliers

We imagine that you

Professionally

• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar
• Have extensive experience with Power BI
• Have extensive experience with Databricks
• Have strong skills in Python and SQL
• Have practical experience with setting up and developing DevOps pipelines
• Have an understanding of data security and compliance
• Can communicate complex technical topics in an understandable way

• You take responsibility and follow up on tasks to completion
• You are curious about new technologies and methods
• You have good collaboration skills and thrive in dialogue with both technicians and the business
• You are solution-oriented and motivated by creating concrete results
• Speak and write fluent Danish
