Senior Data Solutions Analyst

Senior Data Solutions Analyst

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

40% of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste.

We’re more than an app: we have a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste, so alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions - such as our Retail Technologies offering, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

Your mission

We are looking for a Senior Data Solutions Analyst to strengthen our use of data to inform our most business critical decisions. On a daily basis, you will be working with business leaders across operations and commercial teams to inform how they measure success, how they use data to inform strategic decisions, and ensure they have the data visibility and tools they need to make progress on those strategies every day.

Your role

• Design and deliver data products within the global organization to unlock better operations workflows through automation and improved access to insights.
• Generate new ideas for how to leverage the data we have to drive business performance
• Provide data-driven guidance to business leaders on key strategic decisions
• Elevate data literacy across the organisation, with an eye toward consistency, ease of understanding, and educating on the right way to use data in each function
• Elevate the Global Analytics team by sharing best practices and learnings and offering ad-hoc guidance to other team members on their projects

Requirements

• You have previous experience in an analytical role
• You have a breadth of experience mapping business questions to data problems
• You are motivated by improving efficiency and effectiveness through automation
• You are driven by the “why” behind the work that you do, always eager to ask an extra question to make sure you’re solving for the right thing
• You have experience managing multiple projects
• You are passionate about data literacy
• You have a proactive mindset and work well in a team environment
• You are strongly proficient in SQL
• You are strongly proficient in at least one BI/Data Visualisation tool (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)

Our values

• We win together: Food waste is a big beast to fight. We believe in a #oneteam.
• We raise the bar: We always push for more. We work smart, smash barriers and elevate one another.
• We keep it simple: Our ambitions are bold but our solutions are simple.
• We build a legacy: We’re proud of the change we’re driving.
• We care: We always look out for each other. Caring is also about the way we do business. We do the right thing.

What We Have To Offer

• A rare opportunity to work in an ESG-centric social impact company and certified B Corporation, where you can see real and tangible impact in your role.
• Working alongside an international community of users, partners and 1,400+ colleagues across 20 countries that are on the same important sustainability mission.
• Personal and professional development opportunities in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
• An inclusive company culture where you can bring your authentic self to work
• A strong, values-driven team culture where we celebrate successes and socialise with colleagues that care.
