Senior Data Management & Fabric Consultant

What do we offer in the role?

You will take a central role where technical delivery, client-facing consulting and Data Management consulting go hand in hand. The role consists of three clear perspectives:

• Technical design and implementation: You work hands-on with architecture, design and implementation of data solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
• Customer development and advisory: You develop customer relationships and function as a trusted advisor by translating needs and ambitions into direction, prioritized initiatives and concrete next steps.
• Data Management and facilitation: You design and facilitate workshops and work in a structured way with governance, prioritization, roadmaps and sustainable delivery models.

The weighting between the perspectives varies from task to task, but common is that you combine technical understanding with the ability to create direction, facilitate decisions and translate the customer's needs into concrete deliveries.

In the role you will among other things

• Design and implement data solutions with Microsoft Fabric.
• Advise customers on how data and AI can be translated into concrete business initiatives.
• Develop relationships with existing customers, identify needs and opportunities and translate them into roadmaps, prioritized initiatives and concrete next steps.
• Help customers create internal support for data- and AI initiatives across business, IT and other stakeholders.
• Design and facilitate workshops and translate outputs into decisions, plans and concrete deliveries.
• Advise on Data Management, governance, prioritization, CoE thinking and the collaboration between business and IT.
• Contribute to establishing sustainable delivery models where the customer can continue with data- and AI initiatives in a structured way.
• Enter into dialogs with potential customers where the relationship is already established, qualify the need and define relevant next steps.

To succeed in the role we expect you to have

• Solid experience with data platforms on Microsoft Fabric and the ability to design and implement solutions that can run in production.
• Experience with business-oriented advisory and translating needs into roadmaps, prioritized initiatives and concrete deliverables.
• Experience with client-facing dialogue, stakeholder management and the ability to create support for data- and AI- initiatives.
• Experience with designing and facilitating workshops and translating outputs into decisions, plans and next steps.
• Understanding of Data Management, governance, prioritization, collaboration between business and IT as well as establishing sustainable delivery models.
• A structured and methodical approach with concrete tools in the toolbox for example roadmapping, prioritization, governance and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and a willingness to experiment responsibly with AI in processes and solutions.
• Fluent in Danish and English at business level.

Additionally it would be advantageous if you also have

• Understanding of data governance and security so that solutions can run in production and create real business value.
• Experience with best practices in data engineering and technical experience with complex data pipelines.
• Experience with Power BI, DAX, Python and notebooks.
• Microsoft certifications, e.g. DP-600 or DP-700.

Location and travel

You can be based in either Aarhus or Virum. A portion of our customer base is located in the Copenhagen area, so if you live in Jutland, expect a few travel days per month.
