Job content

The leading kigutigissaasoq refers to the chief district dentist.

In addition to the daily work as a kigutigissaasoq with patient treatments and preventive work according to the caries strategy, the leading kigutigissaasoq is responsible for:

• Plan and hold meetings according to current guidelines for the other 4 kigutigissaasut in Nuuk dental care
• Sending letters and materials to rural dental care
• Participation in planning and execution of the national toothbrush day
• Participation in organizing and planning health-promoting and preventive dental care for pregnant women, parents of small children, and youth dental care.
• Ensure that all appointments for young children and schoolchildren are made according to current guidelines

Housing

Housing will be allocated according to the rules currently applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment terms, including the right to relocation and moving allowance and household move, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of start between the Government of Greenland and the respective negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
