About the job

As a senior drainage engineer in Road & Sewage you will be an important part of a team where you work with design and practical implementation of small to medium road and drainage tasks.

You will assume a central role and professional responsibility for drainage solutions on civil projects, where you will assist project managers and project teams. Tasks will include:

• Design and dimensioning of rainwater systems, road drainage, ditches, basins, infiltration solutions, etc.
• Preparation of drainage plans, piping plans and similar.
• Coordination with relevant professional disciplines
• Authority dialogue and coordination with municipalities, utilities and other stakeholders.
• Professional supervision and technical sparring in the execution phase - as needed.
• Contribute to tender materials, project proposals, etc. in both bids and design phases.

Your daily life will be characterized by professional challenges, but also collaboration and skilled colleagues in multidisciplinary projects, where you get professional sparring and the opportunity to develop yourself further - professionally and technically.

Qualifications

We are looking for an independent senior profile with good judgement and willingness to take responsibility. You have a background as civil engineer, diploma engineer, constructor or other relevant technical education in construction, water, environment, utilities or infrastructure and between 5-10 years of experience or more. You therefore have:

• Experience with design within drainage and stormwater management - from early phases to tender and execution.
• Technical knowledge of road drainage, piping systems, basins, infiltration, LAR etc.
• Familiarity with relevant road regulations, standards, municipal requirements, utility requirements etc.
• Experience with specifications, quantities, tender materials and technical notes.
• Preferably experience with relevant tools such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, Novapoint, AutoCAD, SCALGO, MIKE, Spildevandskomiteens spreadsheets.

As part of an advisory company we expect you to be approachable in your work and good at communicating your knowledge and collaborating with stakeholders. You handle public and private clients as well as dialogue with municipalities and utilities with credibility.

If you have experience with project management or technical leadership it is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Security clearance is not a general requirement, but can be relevant on some projects. Driving license B is an advantage.
