Senior Manager for BDO Legal, Aalborg

Do you have experience with corporate law, commercial contracts and M&A and a desire to work cross-disciplinary with some of the industry's most skilled specialists? Do you want to be part of a strong legal team in a consulting firm with both national foothold and international outlook? Then perhaps you are the person we are looking for.

BDO Legal consists of about 35 lawyers who work closely across disciplines and locations. Although we are spread over nine offices, we have strong collaboration across – which gives you access to sparring and specialist knowledge nationwide.

Everyday life at BDO Legal

As part of our Legal department you enter a everyday where law and business merge in handling complex legal issues and transactions. Here you bring your expertise in corporate law and/or M&A into play in advising Danish and international companies. It is your legal expertise and commercial understanding that creates value in the guidance – both for the clients and in collaboration.

Your tasks will span broadly – from corporate law and commercial contracts to restructurings and M&A – and you naturally move between legal case handling, client dialogue and knowledge development. You will become part of a competent team, where you apply and further develop your competencies in advising both Danish and international companies.

Collaboration is a natural part of the role. You work closely with colleagues across departments and gain insight into different disciplines and perspectives, which bring new nuances into the advice. Sparring and knowledge sharing are not something that sits on the side of the work – it is an integrated part of the way we create solutions.

You step into a role where your knowledge and your assessments help shape the advice. The role is varied and sometimes fast-paced, where you move between tasks, clients and issues – and continually develop your competencies in step with the complexity of the tasks.

We imagine that you

• Are educated cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience with corporate law, commercial contracts and/or M&A – for example from a law firm
• Thrive in a cross-disciplinary environment and want to collaborate with colleagues from other fields
• Have a structured and solution-oriented approach to tasks
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both Danish and English
• Take responsibility that your tasks are followed through
