About the job
Overview
Build software that helps the world’s warehouses make smarter decisions. On the Distribution team, we build the systems behind warehouse execution, inventory optimization, and AI-powered supply chain operations. The features we ship help thousands of workers stay productive, support millions of inventory movements, and help some of the world’s largest retailers and manufacturers run more efficiently.
The Distribution team is part of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, which supports large-scale supply chain operations. Based at the Microsoft Development Center near Copenhagen, we build warehouse and inventory systems used around the world.
You’ll own features from concept through deployment and see them used by some of the world’s largest retailers, manufacturers, and logistics providers. The work spans distributed systems, optimization, inventory management, operational analytics, and reliability at enterprise scale. You’ll draw on your experience building scalable systems to solve hard engineering problems, strengthen the team’s engineering culture, and bring a live-site-first mindset to critical services. You’ll work with passionate engineers in a collaborative hybrid environment, with opportunities to learn and grow together.
You’ll collaborate with colleagues across an international team and build products used around the world. In this multicultural environment, you can deepen your technical expertise and learn from other engineers.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
