About the job
Location: Viby J
Employment type: Full-Time/40 hours per week
Would you like to shape how food safety and quality create tangible value for customers while influencing strategic decisions across a global ingredients business?
As our Senior Manager, Global Quality & Customer Value, you will bridge customer expectations, business strategy, regulatory compliance and food safety performance. Going beyond traditional quality assurance, you will act as a trusted adviser to customers and colleagues across Commercial, Operations, R&D and Supply Chain.
How you will make an impact
In this strategic leadership role, you will translate customer food safety and quality requirements into clear business actions. You will build strong relationships with key customers, lead the Business Quality Management Team and ensure that food safety and quality considerations are embedded in commercial and operational decision-making. The role is based at our headquarters in Aarhus.
Your key responsibilities will be to
- Build strong relationships with key customers, acting as the senior Food Safety and Quality representative and translating their requirements into effective business actions.
- Lead customer quality agreements, quality business reviews, complaints management and the coordination of customer audits with manufacturing sites.
- Lead the Business Quality Management Team and represent Arla Foods Ingredients in global technical forums, industry working groups and partnerships with relevant associations.
- Advise commercial and operational leadership teams, ensuring food safety and quality risks are mapped and considered in business decisions, growth initiatives and market expansion.
- Drive strategic initiatives and projects by managing interdependencies, resolving roadblocks, influencing relevant investment decisions and ensuring effective completion and handover.
- Support deploying strategic QEHS initiatives through AFI manufacturing sites and lead crisis management & quality incidents affecting customers.
What will make you successful
You bring a relevant science or technical degree at master’s level, or equivalent competencies, together with at least five years of experience in quality, food safety and/or manufacturing within an international company. Your background may come from the food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or another relevant industry. You have experience leading and engaging a skilled team and are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across different functions and levels of an organization.
You combine strong analytical capabilities with sound business understanding and can turn large amounts of complex information into clear, high-quality decision proposals. You communicate fluently in English and adapt your communication effectively, whether engaging with colleagues on the plant floor, senior executives, customers or external technical stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you are particularly strong at building trusted relationships, navigating complexity and creating progress through collaboration. You approach change with curiosity and independence, remain grounded and interested in the people around you, and seek solutions that create value for all parties. You enjoy working towards ambitious goals both independently and alongside others in a dynamic international environment where priorities may evolve.
What do we offer?
You will take on a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence customer partnerships, business priorities and food safety and quality performance across an international organisation. Working closely with colleagues from Commercial, Operations, R&D and Supply Chain, you will help connect technical expertise with customer and business value.
We are committed to professional development and promoting from within. Our collaborative culture is designed to bring out the best in you, while giving you the opportunity to contribute to a global market leader that creates value for customers, consumers and the farmers who own us.
