Would you like to help make it easy for Aarhusians to sort waste and keep the city neat? Do you enjoy working outdoors, taking responsibility for your own tasks, and feeling the result of your work every day? Then you might be our new service employee.

At Kredsløb you play an important role in the green transition. You help ensure that public underground containers and cubes function as they should, so it is easy for citizens to sort correctly. It may not be glamorous. But it is important for the city.

Kredsløb works for future sustainable solutions in energy, heat and recycling. Every day thousands of citizens depend on our solutions functioning in practice. Therefore we need skilled employees who thrive on translating good craftsmanship into tangible results. This also applies to the service arrangement.

You will become part of our operations team, which ensures that the many underground waste containers in Aarhus City Centre function and present themselves properly. The team consists of dedicated colleagues who help each other and lift tasks together, even though everyday life often includes independent work.

You make a visible difference in the city

As a service employee you will have an active workday, moving around in Aarhus City Centre in an electric car and service the underground waste systems. During the day you will get in and out of the car many times, walk around the city and handle waste and equipment related to the service tasks. Therefore it is important that you enjoy a day where your body is active.

We provide thorough training so you feel confident in the tasks and quickly feel part of the team.

Your tasks will include

• remove waste around underground waste containers
• drive waste to the recycling station
• perform service checks so the containers function correctly
• handle smaller operational tasks and keep areas neat and inviting
• record data and schedule waste collections via mobile and PC
• coordinate tasks and contribute to daily operations

Working hours are typically 06.00-14.00, and you solve most tasks independently.

Additionally, we expect that you

• thrive on an active workday, being on your feet a lot, moving around the city and carrying out practical tasks
• can work independently and plan your day
• are approachable and calm with citizens and partners
• enjoy working in the city centre where there is a lot of traffic and other activities
• have knowledge of Aarhus City Centre or a desire to quickly build a good local knowledge of the area
• have basic knowledge of using a mobile device and PC

A driving license for a passenger car is a requirement to apply for the position.
