Service technician for generator systems at Hytor A/S in Esbjerg

Here you will work with service, maintenance and troubleshooting – both in the workshop and at customers' sites.

About the job

You start with thorough training at the workshop in Esbjerg, where you will learn the generator installations, workflows and documentation, before you start solving tasks at customers' sites.

The daily routine varies. Some days you mainly work practically with service, maintenance and troubleshooting, while other days involve more documentation and updating projects on the PC. There can be periods with high pace and many tasks and other periods where there is more calm.

The work takes place both in the workshop and at customers in Denmark and Europe. The extent of travel varies, and with more activities coming in it can increase. Therefore, a fixed number of travel days cannot be set for the position. It is important that you thrive with both and are flexible when tasks require it.

About you

You are e.g. a mechanic, truck mechanic, construction machinery mechanic or have an equivalent mechanical background. The most important is that you understand diesel engines, can troubleshoot and are keen to learn the generator area.

In addition, emphasis is placed on the following

• Have a Category B driving license, forklift certificate is an advantage
• Have technical understanding and basic knowledge of electronics
• Are PC-savvy and can operate in Danish
• Are flexible regarding travel activity
• Do not have a fear of heights

Hytor also offers a canteen/meal plan, a staff association and health insurance. When you are traveling and cannot use the canteen, meal expenses are covered. When staying overnight, per diems and travel allowances are also provided.
