Service Technician, KMC AMBA

On behalf of KMC Derivat Randstad is currently looking for two skilled technicians for two newly created positions at their factory in Brande. As part of further optimizing production, the maintenance department is now expanded with technicians who will follow the production roll.

¤work tasks and responsibilities

The other technicians at the factory work on a fixed day shift. Your role will be to follow the production’s shift cycle. That means that on some shifts you will work side by side with the day shift, while at other times you will be the only technician on the shift, where your task is to ensure operation and up-time outside normal working hours. You have a fixed base based in the workshop, but your primary workflow will be out in the production itself, where things happen, in close cooperation with the production staff.

You will run a 5-week rotation with 12-hour shifts (start time 06:00 or 18:00), alternating between day, night, weekend and where you know your plan a full year into the future.

¤In headlines the following work tasks can be highlighted

• Troubleshooting and handling of acutely arising breakdowns on the plant.
• Ongoing preventive maintenance with a focus on ensuring up-time.
• Work in the maintenance system VM4000
• Cleanup in connection with completed tasks.
• Written reporting and ordering of spare parts from suppliers.
• Knowledge sharing and close collaboration with the rest of the technical team.

¤qualifications and characteristics

As an entry to this job, we expect you to have strong abilities in both electrical engineering and mechanical. You will most likely come from a similar production environment. Experience from the food industry is an advantage, but not an inflexible requirement.
