Set the direction for the future water and climate solutions

As a project manager in Sewerage & Civil Engineering you will have the opportunity to set direction, develop strong client relationships and apply your expertise to complex projects with great significance for the infrastructure of the future.

In this role you will be a key player in translating clients' needs into strong, cross-disciplinary solutions. You will be responsible for driving progress in the projects, ensuring quality of deliverables and contributing to developing both our advisory services and our position in the market. You will also be an important sounding board for colleagues and clients with the opportunity to influence projects, relationships and the professional direction.

Your primary responsibilities

• Lead larger and smaller projects for both public and private clients, and especially utilities
• Drive projects within drainage technology, construction and climate adaptation from early advisory work to implementation
• Provide strong professional sparring and knowledge sharing across the department and Artelia
• Use your market knowledge and network to strengthen relationships, spot opportunities and develop the business
• Participate in bid work with commercial understanding, advisory experience and a focus on the client's needs
• Help develop both the professional area and the department's position in the market.

You will become part of Sewerage & Civil Engineering in the Infrastructure business unit with a local placement in Næstved. Nationally, Artelia has about 300 employees in the infrastructure area, and you will have access to a strong professional environment across the offices. Here you will collaborate with colleagues with competencies including, among others, drainage technology, planning, remediation planning, hydrology, modelling, climate adaptation, traffic, road, airports, geotechnics, bridges, railways, nature, sustainability and the environment.

Your profile

• You have an engineering degree or other relevant technical background – preferably with a specialization in drainage, construction or climate adaptation.
• You have a minimum of 8 years of solid experience in drainage technology and complex construction projects
• You come with a strong advisory background and understand the interplay between client, project owner, contractor and consultant
• You are a strong project manager who creates forward momentum, overview and motivation in the project team
• You have good market knowledge and know what is happening with clients, project owners and partners
• You have a good network and a desire to use it actively in relationships, market dialogue and business development
• You have experience with bid work and preferably knowledge of the legal aspects
• You thrive in dialogue with clients, project owners and colleagues
• You communicate clearly in Danish – and preferably also in English.
