Shift change in Vendsyssel

We are seeking an ambitious forester to gradually take over the responsibility for a well-established forest estate of approximately 2,000 ha in Vendsyssel, as the Skovdyrkerforeningen's longtime forester, Hans Christian Graversgaard, eases back his working hours.

Description of the position

• Starting from your home office, you will work closely with the association's three other foresters north of the Limfjord and be a close part of Skovdyrkerne Nord-Øst with an office in Randers.
• Advice, where you come 360 degrees around the forest and at the office – on both small and large properties.
• You will be out in the sharp end, where you will work together with skilled suppliers, contractors and colleagues to deliver the right solutions.
• You will work with sustainable timber production, hunting, nature management and biodiversity in cooperation with engaged and loyal members.
• The keywords in Vendsyssel are: engagement, curiosity, credibility and a high level of activity among your members.

We expect that you

• Have a degree as a forest and landscape engineer or a forestry candidate.
• Are academically strong, and able to bring your expertise and creativity into dialogue with the forest owner.
• Show commitment and a willingness to join the team, both in our association and nationally together with our sister associations.
• Work in a structured and efficient manner – and take responsibility for your own tasks and deadlines.
