Shop assistant sought for Aart de Vos Art Supplies

We are looking for a new colleague for our shop in the heart of Aarhus.

Aart de Vos is a specialty shop for artist supplies with a large range of products within, among other things, painting, drawing, graphics, paper, canvas and brushes. We have both a physical shop and a webshop and serve everything from students and hobby artists to professional artists, studios and institutions.

We are looking for a shop assistant for 30–37 hours per week , who wants to become part of our permanent team and get to know our large range well.

Your tasks

The work is varied, and you will among other things be working with

• Customer service and advising in the store
• Warehouse work, restocking and unpacking
• Packing and handling webshop orders
• Ordering and reserving goods for customers
• Tidying and other practical tasks in the store

In time you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for certain product areas or other tasks.

We want to emphasize that the position is not solely about customer service and art supplies. A substantial part of everyday life also consists of practical tasks with goods, storage, packing, restocking and tidying up.

• Are prepared for physical work with goods, tills and storage

Familiarity with art, artist supplies or creative materials is a big advantage, but not a requirement. Experience from retail, customer service, warehousing or similar is also an advantage.

For us, the right attitude, stability and willingness to learn are more important than your exact background.

Working hours

The position is on 30–37 hours per week .

We work with a 2-week rota , where you as a rule work

Week 1: Monday–Thursday

Week 2: Monday–Saturday, where the working days are shorter

This means that you have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off every other week .

Working hours vary, but typically fall between 9:25 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

The exact number of hours will be agreed within 30–37 hours depending on the right candidate.
