Working hours: The position will as a rule be day/evening and include work every 2nd weekend (but there may also be an opportunity to participate in 12-hour shifts with work every 3rd weekend).

Start date: preferably 01.11.2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are systemically and narratively oriented. Here NADA is offered to residents (ear acupuncture), and conversations. Part of the daily practical tasks takes place together with the residents. We are seeking a skilled and engaged health professional colleague who works purposefully and structurally, who sees opportunities and is creative in working with the residents. In addition, it would be advantageous if you have knowledge of the target group or parts of the target group’s challenges.

Functions

• Tasks in the 24-hour department:
• Develop procedures for handling physician-ordered medicines in accordance with applicable law.
• Training of relief workers and new colleagues in medication management.
• Initiate health-promoting initiatives.
• Actively participate in discussions about residents from a health professional perspective.
• Develop and strengthen cooperation with external partners, e.g. The Regional Psychiatric Department, Kolding Addiction Center (KMC), general practitioners, etc.
• Work towards residents obtaining the greatest possible insight into their own health.
• Health conversations with residents who wish this.
• Support and guide residents to relevant health examinations.
• Ensure that the medicine room contains the necessary tools to perform nursing.
• Keep updated on research related to the field of socially vulnerable.
• Create an environment that is pleasant to be in.

Qualifications

We expect that you have a education as a nurse or SSA and you should have experience in developing interventions. You must be good at establishing contact with our residents, able to think outside the box and you should have good collaboration skills.

• You have a holistic view and are good at engaging in dialogue with the health professional perspective in a daily routine with close collaboration with social professionals.
• You join Self-worth and coherence.
• You wish to contribute to developing procedures and guidelines.
• You master electronic communication.
• You look forward to collaborating with the other health professionals, where you set the direction together.
• You have assertiveness, are independent and responsible
• You keep up with research and development in the field.
• You have experience working with mentally ill and/or substance-using citizens.

Who are we?

Forsorgshjemmet Overmarksgården is an acute temporary social 24-hour center for socially vulnerable citizens under §110 of the Danish Social Services Act.

Overmarksgården's task is to offer overnight accommodation and support for socially vulnerable citizens with substance abuse problems and/or severe social/psychiatric issues. In recent years the department has worked targeted with implementing a systemically and narratively oriented approach in relation to cooperation with residents.

Our task is person-centered and we provide support with the aim of re-establishing a life with focus on new opportunities.

Overmarksgården has 44 places as well as 4 hostel places. Overmarksgården's staff consists of many professional groups, where everyone's competencies are utilized in a multidisciplinary collaboration. We are an organization of approximately 46 employees. You will report to the head of department for: 24-hour department, Social Workers and Team Strengthened Initiatives.

Salary: According to applicable collective agreement, and New pay.
