About the job - and your qualifications

This is an exciting position with tasks within both financial management and planning, case processing, communication, as well as handling a number of internal and external collaboration relationships.

You will act as case handler on several cross-cutting tasks, and you will work with budgeting and internal financial management in our projects. You will also take a central role in communicating and reporting to the management system in HE Midt as well as to other stakeholders. You must work strategically and maintain an overview – even when there are many balls in the air.

The position involves several outward-facing activities and contacts both internally in the organization and externally. Therefore you must be able to work very independently while also being a team player. You must be able to oversee and translate complex material so that it becomes accessible and clear, and you must be able to get the tasks done.

We expect applicants with a social science master's degree (cand. scient. pol., cand. scient. adm., cand.jur., cand. oecon. or similar).

Construction and Projects acts as the client for building projects, maintenance, and renovations of HE Midt's buildings in Skive, Viborg, Hammel, and Silkeborg. The department is also responsible for managing how HE Midt's square meters (nearly 250,000 m2) are used, including space planning and the overall plans that govern these tasks. We maintain HE Midt's drawing archive, continuously work with digitization, sustainable construction, building inspections, etc. We also project-manage development tasks at HE Midt in some of our construction projects.

The department reports to hospital management and is organizationally part of a hospital community at HE Midt.

About Hospitalsenhed Midt

Hospitalsenhed Midt consists of the regional hospitals in Viborg, Silkeborg, Hammel, and Skive – collectively forming a hospital unit with a strong professional profile. Due to the complexity and breadth of the specialties, the hospital unit is one of the most broadly specialized hospital units in Jutland. The four hospitals with a total of about 4,800 employees have around 450,000 outpatient visits annually and discharge about 60,000 patients after hospitalization.

Employment

This is a permanent full-time position at 37 hours. The appointment is made in Region Midtjylland with service in Hospitalsenhed Midt's Department of Construction and Projects at Viborg Regional Hospital. Salary and employment terms in accordance with the current collective agreement and the Ny Løn principles.
