About us

We have a total of 30 beds and many skilled multidisciplinary staff. The citizens who come to us come for many different reasons, but the majority come directly from hospitals. Many have complex and chronic diseases, and a large part of the citizens needs both acute care and intensive rehabilitation. When citizens come to us, we assess them immediately. Almost simultaneously we begin giving them exactly the care and rehabilitation they need, so they can recover as quickly as possible and regain lost skills or develop new strategies.

Achieving such individually tailored acute care requires a high level of professionalism from everyone involved. It also requires close collaboration with citizens and their relatives and multidisciplinary collaboration between social- and healthcare assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors, hospitals, home care etc.

About you

You are an occupational therapist who enjoys a daily routine where days are not the same. We expect you to contribute with your high professionalism to the multidisciplinary collaboration. It is preferable that you have experience with dysphagia. You are prepared to work on some holidays and participate in the department's teaching and development.

In the job as an occupational therapist with us you will experience that

  • there is a strong focus on dysphagia assessments as well as ADL assessment and training
  • both the ICF model (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) and clinical reasoning are central tools in daily work
  • you must set goals for the course/trajectory so we can daily assess whether a citizen can be at home or needs a longer stay
  • the training you provide is usually of an individual character and therefore very targeted to the individual citizen
  • we expect you to stand by your professional assessment, but also that you are willing to discuss cases factually, professionally and calmly if someone else views things differently.
