Skilled/unskilled blacksmith/machine operator for operating an auger transport machine

Qualified/unqualified blacksmith/machine operator sought for setup and operation with a transport screw machine.

There is only one machine of this kind in Northern Europe and you will learn to operate, set up and manufacture screw spirals for our own production and sale.

You will be trained by people with several years of experience and along the way learn to weld, use a cutting torch, angle grinder and several other metalworking tasks. It takes about 1-2 years to become really proficient at operating the machine and there will be a lot of manual smithing and setup and maintenance work, where you will get your hands dirty.

Who are you?

• You have patience and determination even if the work is tricky and does not succeed the first time. (Important!)
• You are responsible, structured and have a positive attitude to teamwork.
• You are ready to work in a small close-knit team with experienced and good colleagues, where there is an opportunity to receive advice, help and guidance regarding your tasks and the development of transport screws.
• The work may from time to time require good physical fitness.

Monday to Wednesday 7:00-15:30, Thursday 7:00-14:45, Friday 07:00-14:30
