SLING intern at Skovdyrkerne Syd

Are you a conscientious, good colleague, and do you have a strong drive - then we at Skovdyrkerne Syd have an exciting SLING internship in one of Denmark's best teams within the forestry sector.

We are looking for a SLING intern who will primarily be attached to forester Jens Venø Kjellerup.

A forester with us works, among other things, with

• Individual advice to members with a focus on forest management, hunting and nature management
• The owners are very diverse, therefore the counseling ranges from intensive silviculture to the development of nature and biodiversity
• Project planning, contract management for processing of raw timber and chips as well as site establishment, etc.
• Sales of roundwood and chips, as well as procurement of various materials, plants etc.
• Planning, management and negotiation with contractors
• Budgeting and financial follow-up, including the preparation of invoicing and settlement bases.

We expect that you

• Have a strong interest in practical forestry, wildlife and nature management.
• Want to develop yourself further and learn more within practical forestry and landscape management
• Like interacting with many and diverse types of people throughout the day
• Can work independently with support from the internship host
• Can handle many tasks simultaneously and maintain an overview in pressurized situations
• Think logically and have a flair for collaborating with colleagues, contractors and forest owners
• Most importantly, have drive and curiosity as well as the desire to contribute to achieving the shared goals
• Have their own car and live in a geographically reasonable location with respect to the forest area
