About the job

Be part of creating the healthcare and care facilities of the future in Hirtshals

On January 1, 2027, the Health and Care Facilities at Lynggården in Hirtshals will open as a new and important offering in the health care chain. Here, citizens with complex care, treatment and rehabilitation needs will receive a coherent and professionally strong offering where quality, presence and development go hand in hand.

We are now seeking employees who want to become part of something new. With us you get a unique opportunity to shape culture, cooperation and professional development in an organization under construction.

At Lynggården you will meet high professionalism, a rehabilitative approach and close interdisciplinary collaboration. We believe the best solutions are created in collaboration, when different professional backgrounds are brought into play with respect for each other and with the citizen's needs at the center.

At the same time you will have a workplace in Hirtshals where the sea, nature and the strong local community form a very special frame around both work life and leisure.

We are not just building a new workplace. We are building a new offering, new communities and new opportunities for citizens and employees.

Make a difference while the city sleeps

Are you a social and healthcare assistant, and do you thrive on presence, independence and responsibility?

Then you may be the person we are looking for for a permanent night shift position at Lynggården.

At night you help create calm, security and continuity for citizens with complex needs. You meet the citizens with care, respect and professional attention, and you know that small observations can often make a big difference.

We need a colleague who works rehabilitatively, sees resources rather than limitations and contributes to citizens experiencing a dignified and coherent progression. You understand the value of presence in the quiet hours and can create security when the need is greatest.

Your tasks

As a social and healthcare helper on night shift you will, among other things

  • Ensure safety, care and continuity for the citizens throughout the night
  • Observe changes in the citizens' physical and mental condition and respond appropriately
  • Perform personal care and practical assistance with high quality and respect for the individual citizen
  • Support citizens' rehabilitation and mastery of their own lives
  • Document relevant observations and contribute to coherent citizen trajectories
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and other professional groups on citizens' well-being and development

We are looking for someone who

  • Is trained as a social and health care helper
  • Thrives with responsibility and independent work
  • Has good observation skills and a sharp eye for citizens' needs
  • Can remain calm and maintain an overview in a changing daily life
  • Works rehabilitatively and respectfully
  • Is a team player who contributes to a good working environment
  • Wants to help develop a new offering and a new workplace

We offer

  • Permanent night shift position
  • Opportunity to be involved from the beginning in establishing the Health and Care Facilities
  • A workplace with high professionalism and strong interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Influence on the development of a new offering for the citizens
  • A collegial community characterized by integrity, trust and humor
  • Good opportunities for professional and personal development

We are not just looking for a night guard. We are looking for a colleague who with care, professionalism and presence will help create a new offering where citizens experience safety and quality - even when the night falls.
