Social and Health Care Assistant for Day Shift at Tulipan House

Do you want to use your professional skills in a varied daily life and at the same time help develop our new respite places? Then we are hiring a social and health care assistant for Tulipanhuset.

On January 1, 2027 we will expand to a total of 10 respite places. We are already well underway and currently have four places in operation.

At the respite places we work with different types of citizen pathways. It can be citizens whose relatives need respite, citizens in the last stage of life, as well as citizens where it has not yet been clarified which intervention or housing form is right. This provides a varied daily life with the opportunity to use your professional skills in different processes and with different needs.

At the same time you will become part of Tulipanhuset, where 18 residents with somatic issues live.

You will become part of a strong professional environment with an experienced nurse and skilled social- and health care assistants and -aides. We work closely with occupational and physical therapists as well as our two music therapists.

Your tasks

As a social- and health care assistant you will have a varied daily life, including

• provide holistic care and nursing based on the individual resident’s needs
• observe, assess and respond to changes in residents’ condition
• perform health-related tasks and treatments within your competence area
• document safely and systemically
• participate in care and nursing for citizens in the last stages of life
• support good and safe respite care journeys
• collaborate with SSA- and SSH-colleagues, nurses and other partners
• engage in dialogue with relatives
• contribute to professional sparring and knowledge sharing

• can make professional assessments, prioritize and act on changes in residents’ condition
• maintain calm and overview, even when a process changes
• communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, relatives and colleagues

• contribute to a good working environment and community

The position

• Permanent position as a social- and health care assistant at 37 hours per week. If a full-time position is not right for you, we are happy to discuss another number of hours.
• Work every 3rd weekend.
• Start: 1 December 2026
• Workplace: Tulipanhuset, Rosenlund Plejeboliger
• The position encompasses the total work in Tulipanhuset with a special function around the respite places

• You will be employed under collective agreement with FOA

A little about Rosenlund Plejeboliger

Rosenlund Plejeboliger contains 140 homes spread across five units with different profiles. We have both somatic units, dementia units and housing for younger citizens with psychological and social challenges.

We are also a music care home, where music is a natural part of daily life. Our two music therapists contribute to quality of life, well-being and good moments for the residents and also play an important role in some of our more complex citizen pathways.

At Rosenlund we work to ensure that our residents can live the life they want, based on their individual needs and resources.
